How can we inspire our faithful to be more engaged and generous with their parish? This is one of the most critical issues we generally face, and it has been made worse due to the current pandemic. The Stewardship Ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco invites you to a five-part series to help you and your parish create a culture of true Christian stewardship. Through this process that will produce a more effective Stewardship ministry, you are able to elevate your parish to a deeper level of understanding of true Christian stewardship that leads to a transformative way of living your calling as a Greek Orthodox Christian.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 1 at 6:30 p.m. PST, and continuing every other Tuesday through October 27, Bill Marianes from Stewardship Calling, will lead us on an inspirational journey filled with relevant information, best practices, and 15 empirically proven specific strategies you can implement to better engage your parishioners and increase your stewardship results.

We ask all Clergy, Parish Council Members and Stewardship Committees to participate. Don’t miss out!

About Our Presenter

Bill Marianes has been called a “stewardship calling evangelist” and “the Orthodox WHY guy.” For 36 years, he was a partner and in leadership for two global law firms with over 1,100  lawyers each, where he was managing partner of the Atlanta office and practiced in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions.

Marianes

He retired early so that he could “work” full time for free through his Stewardship Calling ministry to help people and parishes discover and live their stewardship callings so that they can have a good account before the awesome judgment seat of Christ. He has presented his fully researched and proven Igniting The Flame Of True Christian Stewardship program to over 500 Orthodox parishes of all jurisdictions, seminarians at Holy Cross and St. Tikhon’s seminaries and has completed church strategic plans that cover over 26% of Orthodox Christians in the United States. He serves on the Secretariat of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops and on the Archdiocese Council (including its Legal Committee and Stewardship Committee).

Bill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Northwestern University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Goizueta Graduate School of Business Administration at Emory University and a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, all with honors. He lives at Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA and has been married to his wife, Audrey, for 39 years and has two daughters, Dr. Alexis Marianes, a global researcher, and Eliana Marianes, a professional actress.
