May 3, 2018 * Event repeats weekly on thursday for 4 times

7:00 - 8:30pm

We Read Together is an online book group, nurturing conversation and community around great Orthodox Christian books. The goal is to encourage one another to explore important Orthodox Christian spiritual literature, thereby fostering conversation and mutual support for one another in our efforts to draw closer to Christ.

This year’s selection, For the Life of the World, by Fr. Alexander Schmemann, is an Orthodox Christian classic. It has been translated into eight languages and is studied across Christian denominations.

The program includes a downloadable study guide and four live weekly discussions, offered via Zoom video conferencing. The live discussions are moderated by Dr. Eve Tibbs, Director of Religious Education for the Metropolis of San Francisco and Professor of Theology at Fuller Seminary. They will take place Thursday evenings from 7:00p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on May 3, 10, 17 and 24.
