On Sunday, March 8, 2020, His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco will preside over Sunday of Orthodoxy Pan-Orthodox Vespers at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in San Francisco, CA. All Orthodox faithful ae invited to gather in worship to share our common faith, and to celebrate the triumph of Orthodoxy and the restoration of icons in the Church.

The guest homilist for this service will be His Eminence Metropolitan Tarasios of Rhodopolis, Primate and Exarch of Lazica, who was recently appointed at the Director of the Patriarch Athenagoras Orthodox Institute. Prior to accepting this position, Metropolitan Tarasios served as Metropolitan of Buenos Aires and Exarch of South America. He has vast experience and knowledge through his distinguished years of ministry and we are honored to have him as our Guest Homilist.

The Vespers service will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by a Lenten meal generously hosted by the Holy Trinity community. All clergy wishing to participate should begin the service with a gold epitrachilion and felonion, and then change to Lenten colors during the Great Prokeimenon.

Holy Trinity is located at 999 Brotherhood Way. There is ample onsite parking and parking lot security will be provided. Holy Trinity’s sanctuary is wheelchair accessible. The text of the service will be linked on Holy Trinity’s website.
