The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco will celebrate another milestone next month with the Thyranoixia of the Alex and Faye Spanos Faith and Heritage Center at Saint Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center on Thursday, September 22, 2016. This is not just the opening of the doors of this facility, it is the realization of the vision of His Eminence Metropolitan Anthony, of blessed memory.
Many of you have already seen this facility but as we prepare to formally celebrate its completion, this also provides an opportunity for us to honor those people whose generosity has made this project possible. This includes Alex and Faye Spanos and their family as the major benefactors of this beautiful facility, along with additional support from the Metropolis Philoptochos and the Elios Charitable Foundation. Without the exceptional philanthropy of these individuals and organizations, we would not have this new facility which will enhance the programming offered at Saint Nicholas Ranch, and provides a beautiful forum in which to display important historical items for our Metropolis.
Please note that space is limited for the Thyranoixia and the complimentary Luncheon immediately following, so your timely response is requested by contacting the Metropolis Office at 415-753-3075 no later than September 1, 2016.
