Registration is now open for the 2026 Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Clergy-Laity Assembly to be held Tuesday, January 27 – Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Saint Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center in Dunlap, CA. This year’s Assembly theme is “Ministry in Action. Faith in Motion.” and will feature the ministries of our Metropolis through workshops, an interactive panel and a Ministry Pavilion. The theme is inspired from this passage, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10) which captures the dynamic and living expression of our Metropolis ministries. It further highlights that our work is not static. Rather, it is active, purposeful, and guided by faith. Each of our 13 ministries plays a vital role in shaping the spiritual life of our clergy and faithful and together, they form a unified network of service, education, care, and support across our Metropolis.
We are honored that His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America will be with us again, to share in this gathering and offer his Archpastoral support and love for our Metropolis.
Parishes in the Metropolis are reminded to have full representation as specified in the 2019 Uniform Regulations of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, with four delegates in attendance comprised of the following:
- The Parish Priest.
