Individuals who wish to be nominated for the Metropolis Council, Archdiocesan Council, and Audit Committee for the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco must submit their nomination by completing this online form. Positions open are:

• Eight (8) Clergy for the Metropolis Council
• Eight (8) Laity for the Metropolis Council
• One (1) Clergy for the Archdiocesan Council
• Two (2) Laity for the Archdiocesan Council
• Two (2) Members of the Audit Committee

All nominations must be submitted by Friday, January 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

The following information is provided to guide you through the nomination process. Please note that following the submission of your nomination, this information will be sent to your parish priest for verification prior to your name being placed on the ballot. Voting will take place during the Metropolis Clergy-Laity Assembly on January 27-28, 2026, at Saint Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center. Nominees are not required to be present for the election.

Please note that the information you are providing on the form specific to your parish involvement, personal statement, profession and photograph will be made available on the Metropolis of San Francisco website and to all delegates registered for the Clergy-Laity Assembly. We will not distribute your phone number and email address. You may find it helpful to draft your answers in a Word document, then copy/paste the information into the Google form.

All candidates desiring to be considered for the Metropolis Council, even if currently serving, must complete the nomination form prior to the stated deadline.
