The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Philoptochos Women’s Wellness and Awareness Ministry invite you to a virtual event, “Stories of Struggle and Resilience Amidst the Pandemic” to be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. PST

Dr. Ann Bezzerides, Director, Office of Vocation and Ministry at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology will be the featured presenter, and will be joined by special guests: Virginia Alex, Helen A. Carlos, Presvytera Anna Kallis, and Kyra Limberakis.

Participation is complimentary, however advance registration is required to obtain the Zoom link.

Dr. Ann Mitsakos Bezzerides

Director of the Office of Vocation and Ministry (OVM) at Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC)

Dr. Ann Mitsakos Bezzerides is the Director of the Office of Vocation and Ministry (OVM) at Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC). The OVM is most well-known for its CrossRoad Summer for Orthodox high school juniors and seniors, as well as the Telos Project which is working with parishes to develop programs that explore how young adults engage in the Church.

Dr. Bezzerides teaches Youth Ministry at Holy Cross and also oversees the Certificate in Youth and Young Adult Ministry and Leadership at HCHC, a one-year program which provides participants with intensive, mentored training as they deepen their theological knowledge and spiritual formation. She is a graduate of Middlebury College (BA), St. Vladimir's Seminary (MDiv), and Boston College (PhD). She and her husband Vassilios, a pediatric cardiologist, have three boys and live in Brookline, MA.
