The Metropolis of San Francisco Stewardship Ministry invites you to join us for a special presentation by Rev. Father John Kocolas (Nativity of Christ – Novato, CA), and Thomaida Hudanish (Metropolis Director of Missions and Evangelism) where they will share strategies and ideas for “Fostering Community Outreach and Evangelism”. If we want to grow our parishes and stewardship, we need to be more attentive to how we engage with the greater community through charitable works. Learn how we can extend our hands and hearts and demonstrate the love of Christ through our actions.

Guest Speakers

Rev. Fr. John Kocolas
Rev. Father John Kocolas currently serves as proistamenos at the Nativity of
Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Novato, CA. He grew up deeply involved in the
Church of the Annunciation in Modesto, CA and earned a degree in Business
Marking from CSU Stanislaus.
After graduating with his Masters of Divinity from Holy Cross Theological Seminary in Brookline, MA, he was ordained in 2012 and served the Church of the Holy Cross in Belmont, CA as the assistant priest. Moving to Novato in 2016, Fr. John is blessed with a loving wife of 10 years and two energetic children. He looks forward to sharing his experiences in effective outreach to current, new, and future stewards of the Church.

Thomaida Hudanish
Thomaida Hudanish serves as the Metropolis Director of the Missions and
Evangelism Ministry. She worked for eight years in parish ministry before joining
the Metropolis Missions and Evangelism Ministry in 2014. In addition to her work
in the American mission field, she has volunteered with Orthodox programs in India, Israel-Palestine, and Mexico, and served on short-term mission teams
to Mongolia and Kenya with the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC).
She is also the co-founder of Beauty First Films, publishers of a unique Liturgical Seasons wall calendar and creators of a forthcoming documentary about St. Amphilochios of Patmos. Thomaida lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
