Please join us for a free weekly course in Basic Orthodox Theology offered by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Christian Education Ministry. Dr. Paraskevè (Eve) Tibbs will lead participants through a fast-moving and engaging instructional format, combining lectures, visual presentations, discussion and videos. Each class session topic is independent. Attend when you are able – a series commitment is not required. No homework.

About the Instructor
Dr. Paraskevè (Eve) Tibbs
Dr. Paraskevè (Eve) Tibbs holds a PhD in Systematic Theology with a minor in Church History from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, where she has served as an Affiliate Professor of Systematic Theology since 2005. She is the author of A Basic Guide to Eastern Orthodox Theology: Introducing Beliefs and Practices (Baker Academic, 2021), and Seeing the Gospel: An Interpretive Guide to Orthodox Icons (Baker Academic, 2025). Dr. Tibbs serves as Ministry Lead for Christian Education and is a member of the Metropolis Council for the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco.
