Profile Eve Tibbs

Dr. Eve (Paraskevè) Tibbs

Dr. Eve (Paraskevè) Tibbs (PhD, Theology) is the author of A Basic Guide to Eastern Orthodox Theology: Introducing Beliefs and Practices, with Foreword by His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew (Baker Academic Publishing, 2021) and Seeing the Gospel:  An Interpretive Guide to Orthodox Icons (Baker Academic Publishing, 2025).

In addition to teaching theology courses at Fuller Theological Seminary and Hellenic College, Dr. Tibbs currently serves as a member of the Faith and Order Commission of the World Council of Churches representing the Ecumenical Patriarchate.  She is the Ministry Lead for Christian Education and a member of the Metropolis Council of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco.
